The summer of 2005 in Lanzhou, China, I felt God calling me to more, that He wanted me to spent an extended time overseas in His service. So here I am! I am currently 20 years old, taking the year off from the university, and am on a whirlwind adventure, serving God and being a part of what He is doing in Ukraine!

Hi Sarah,

You are so smart to be doing what you are doing. We visited Berdyansk on a mini-mission to see a child we hosted here. We find now that she is not adoptable and we are working like crazy to get her in the database. She was 8 when we first met - 10 now. We would love to connect with a local ministry and fund ministry. Specifically to include occasional ministry to this child..maybe teach English...maybe we could write back and forth. (the orphanage does not allow for her to write or put her in the database...we are working to have that happen. We are deperate in the meantime to get more connected and to let her know we are trying hard. Can you recommend your church or center?
